Privacy policy

This site does not measure your visit, shows no advertising and loads no content from any external service. The only personal data we process is what you send us voluntarily through the contact form, and we keep it for at most one year.

This page is a translation of the French original, which prevails in the event of any discrepancy.

Who is responsible for your data

BANULS DESIGN, 14 place de l’Église, 56870 Larmor-Baden, France, publisher of sharetheocean.earth.

Editorial manager: Auriane Virgili.

What we collect, and why

We collect only what you enter in the contact form.

Data Why
Name To address you correctly in our reply
Email address To reply to you
Message To handle your enquiry

Purpose: to answer your message and, where needed, to continue the exchange.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us (article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You initiate the contact, we have a clear interest in answering you, and this processing has no significant impact on you. You may object to it at any time.

Nothing else is collected. We use no analytics tool, no tracking share buttons and no advertising.

Who receives your messages

Messages sent through the form are delivered by email to two addresses within the programme — the programme’s contact address and that of the person responsible for answering — and to no one else. They are never sold, transferred or used for any other purpose.

The mailboxes receiving these messages are hosted by OVH SAS in Roubaix, France. Your data is not transferred outside the European Union.

How long we keep it

The form stores nothing on the site: messages exist only as emails in the recipients’ mailboxes.

Retention: one year at most, from the last exchange. After that, messages are deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data (articles 15 to 21 GDPR). As the processing relies on our legitimate interest, you may object at any time: we then stop processing your data and delete your message.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@sharetheocean.earth. We reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

This cookie is strictly necessary for the site to work in the language you asked for. It is therefore exempt from consent, in line with the CNIL’s recommendation on cookies, which explicitly lists language-preference cookies among exempt trackers.

That is why this site shows no cookie banner: it has nothing to ask you.

If you are logged in to the site’s administration, WordPress sets technical cookies tied to your session. These do not concern visitors.
